Over the last couple episodes we have discussed the lives of Carrie and John McGavock, and told the story of their home being taken over and used as a Confederate field hospital during the Battle of Franklin.
This week, we are continuing the story by discussing the aftermath of the battle and the formation of the McGavock Confederate Cemetery. Joining us this week is historian and Battle of Franklin Trust CEO Eric Jacobson.
